Subject: Unsanitary Restroom Conditions
Introduction
This report is intended to consider the restroom conditions at the FES Acatlán. Most of the time they are not in the appropriate condition to be used or they are closed because of they are being cleaned; making them useless and insufficient.
• Maintenance problem
Almost all the equipment is obsolete, broken or it doesn’t work. The spaces look old and without attention.
• Cleaning conditions
Even when restrooms have a periodical cleaning cycle, they are often in a bad state; there is not toilet paper and no soap for washing hands. Also it takes to the personal sometimes even more than 2 hours to have the restrooms cleaned.
Conclusion
I understand that students help a lot to continue with all this problems, so I recommend two solutions:
- A publicity campaign promoting the well use of the restrooms.
- Talk with the school staff to make de maintenance and cleaning more efficient.

Euthanasia

To start with it’s important to remember that euthanasia is the practice of ending a life when a patient has too much pain due to a chronic disease. We can find two different types of euthanasia; active, which means a using of lethal substances in order to terminate a life, and passive, when the patient refuses to continue with the treatment.

As any ethical matter we can find 2 different positions. Those who are against the euthanasia saying that everything happens for a reason and we must be strong, life is never easy. On the other side the ones who are for the euthanasia pleading that you are the owner of your life and it’s your decision; no one deserves to suffer.

Sometimes euthanasia is related to selfishness, from both sides, the patient who doesn’t think in their beloved ones; and the family, friends, etc. of the patient who doesn’t want to be without that person. This is because taking this decision can’t be taken alone; it involves the whole family because it will affect all of them as well. But most of the times patients suffer more when they are forced to live here and making the one who are around suffer too.

It’s also necessary to consider that every person is different, therefore everybody will react and proceed in different ways to diseases. The ones who are against euthanasia consider it as a easy way out; but accept that we have been defeated doesn’t mean you’re weak.

I do believe in euthanasia as a way to terminate a life. Having been in this situation I can say that I’m definitively for it. The most important part in this topic is to respect the others opinion and points of view.

Good teaching is more a giving of right questions than a giving of right answers.

If you belong to that group of people who think teaching is just a matter of passing knowledge from one person to another, you should reconsider your position.

When you are already in front of tour students is when you realize that being a teacher will represent more than just their school master. At the end you will feel this attachment, some of them stronger than others.

And it’s when you find yourself wondering how you’re going to make them understand that learning, if they want it to be significant and helpful for the rest of their lives, will mean that they will need to be a active character in it.

I think this is the real goal in every teaching-learning process. If you just go giving them the answers the will never be able to understand and analyze something by themselves. Students will go through school expecting everything to be given without any effort. Being at the at end, and please forgive for using this word, but I couldn’t find any other to describe it better, a good-for-nothing kind of people.

That’s why we, as teachers, must encourage them to never stop learning, to always try to look beyond. After all, learning doesn’t mean that you know everything by heart; it means that you understand it and can apply your knowledge.

It was the strangest experience of my life

That day seemed to be as usual as any other day. I woke up at 6:00am, not because of the alarm, but my son was puling one of my sleeves “Dad… Dad I’m scared” Having heard a ghost story from a cousin, he had been dreaming about a one-eyed old lady who appeared at daybreak in children’s room.
“It’s all in your head” I told him once more, after that I got off the bed and allowed him to sleep at my room. The rest of the day passed away with nothing particularly strange or abnormal to report. Actually that whole week was the same, he arrived to my room saying he was scared etc…
Until one day he convinced me to stay with him that night in his room. It was a Saturday, so, I had no problem at all.
I remember I had a beautiful dream about my new baby kid, by that time my wife was pregnant. Suddenly I felt something weird and woke up.
I couldn’t believe it! There she was staring at us. I started yelling my wife’s name, 5 minutes later she was there as surprise as I was. Then I realized I wasn’t afraid… she wasn’t there to scare us. While I was thinking about this I heard a clamorous noisy coming from inside the house.
My roof’s room had just teared down destroying everything… The day before we checked and found out that one of the colums had had a fissure which had been getting bigger. It was the strangest experience of my life.

My favorite song

Music is one of the most important parts of my life. Actually, you can say that I can't live without my ipod or any kind of music player... it's true!

That's why i don't have a favorite song, I mean, I do like some songs more than others and I could mention at least ten that are my favorites... but not just one.

Most of time I have a favorite song according to my mood (of the day or week), or because I just liked the song!

The one that I have chosen for this post is Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini Var.18 by Rachmaninov. For those who doesn't know me that much you need to know that I really enjoy classic music.

This theme is really special because for me not only represents the bright side of life, also those though moments but at the end it always leaves me a great feeling.

Football tackles a big problem

I've never been a sports woman. I like sports, but I just don't practice any of them. People always ask me why and I have a lot of reasons; I'm lazy , I don't want to get tired... etc. But the main reason is because I don't want to get hurt.

Every sport comes with a risk and it's your decision if you are going to take it or not. I have always believed that health is going to be over everything else, not only because it will hurt at the moment, but also because it might affect on the future.

I mean you can have money, you can be famous but it doesn't worth it if you can't even get on your feet by your own or eat without any help. Well, that's my opinion...

Techniques I use to relax

There are a lot of ways for beating stress, but I often use these three:

• taking a shower with hot water (and I mean hot). It makes me feel so relaxed that I just want to sleep.
• Playing video games gives me the sensation that I'm somewhere else, and if anything goes wrong I just press reset and I start again. Keeps my mind away for a while.
• Take a walk helps me to think better and calm down my mind

Este en específico me gusta mucho porque trata de un tema un tanto delicado para todos pero deja con un muy buen sabor de boca; no les cuento más para no arruinarles el final.
La razón por la cual me gusta que sean animados es que de alguna manera suavisan las cosas porque no las vemos de forma real, además tu creas tu mundo con sus miy particulares características donde todo lo que tu quieras es posible

si alguien m preguntara ¿qué cosa te hubiera gustado ser en una vida pasda?" sin pensarlo un segundo contestaría: "una cortesana de la belle epoque". Sí, así es, una cortesana... ¿Por qué? bueno... es un poco complicado de contestar...

Las cortesanas en un principio era mujeres que atendían la corte de un monarca o alguien muy rico o poderoso... después el termino se refirió a las amants... Pero... qué es lo que las hacía diferentes?? no eran prostitutas regulares... Eran las exclusivas... (prostitutas la fin y al cabo) mujeres que formaban parte de la sociedad, se vestían con las mejores ropas, asistían a los mejores eventos, todo mundo hablaba d ellas... etc... claro pagaban un precio muy alto por todo esto: eran excluidas de la sociedad al final de sus vidas y cuando ya no tenían mucho que ofrecer se retiraban a conventos, las que corrían con mejor suerte se casaban o se iban a vivir a otros lugares donde su reputación no fuese conocida.

La vdd es que estos personajes siempre se me han hecho muy románticos y hasta de alguna manera valientes; además m enamoré mucho de ellas cunado la dama de las camelias...

Bueno, una de las más famosas fue la bella Otero una "actriz y bailarina" española, mi hermana dice que no se le hace tan bonita pero yo creo que es una mujer llea de elegancia...

ehhh corto de la semna¡¡

me gusta mucho el estilo d este corto, bastante sencillo, un poco a infantil pero para "mayores de edad"... pero lo que más me gusta es el tema musical "flower, duet Lakme" si tienen la oportunidad de excucharlo aparte se vana aenamorar de él.

amm... realmente m pasé un rato intentando hacer memoria pero de plano q no m acuerdo bn como es q comenzé a jugar en la pump it... el punto de todo es que m gstó mucho¡¡ recuerdo que la primera canción que bailé fue "la del gatito" i saqué una A¡¡¡

jo m sentí tan bn x q otra niña lo intentó i no pudo... JOJOJO

después seguí llendo como x un año en ese momento el crédito me costaba dos pesos, hice algunos amigos pero lo mejor¡¡ conocí a la mataculebras¡¡ no trngo ni idea de cual sea su verdadero nombre pero le decían así por la manera en que "pumpeaba" (con unas chanclitas i le pagaba taaan duro a las flechas q en serio parecía q andaba matando lombrices...)

después de un año dejé de ir porque cambiaron la máquina por una más chafa i ya no me gustó...

cuando entré a la universidad i por fin obtuve mi cambio a la mañana jc i yo descubrimos que en la micro plaza que estaba al lado de la fes acatlán había una pump nx¡¡ OMG¡¡

el porblemita en contra d esta máquina era q costaba 5 pesos el crédito (what???) a lo mejor no se escucha tan mal así pero cuando al día llegas a gastar más de 30 pesos el bolsillo comienza a doler... u_u

esta historia termina cuando la muñeca de mi mano y mi pierna izquierda comienzan a doler (maldita displacia¡¡)

en fin a veces bailo... a través de youtube... sentada en la silla... sí, que floja
bueno los dejo con una de mis favoritas... muy fácil lo sé pero es q la canción m gustaba muuuuucho i el video más¡¡ además era una d las pocas que podía bailar sin agarrarme¡¡

"E"

m encanta la simpleza i la sencillez en los corotetrajes.., es una d las cosas q más m enamora d ellos.

Este corto reune ambas cosas (desde el nombre), sin embargo, lo particular en él son las "voces" de los personajes bastante original esa parte. Tambn nos enseña q no hace falta muha tecnología para conseguir algo d buena calidad, la contraparte del corto anterior.

Es una historia bastante sencilla i divertida. El video es un poco de baja calidad pero no pude conseguir otro.

Una vez más espero q lo disfruten si tienen recomendaciones o comentarios no duden en escribirlos...

watashi wa 20 sai desu¡¡

es curiosa la vida... justo hoy q cumplo 20 años tuve q entregar para mi clase de inglés un soundtrack de mi vida (io escogía las canciones, no canto ni hago cosas x el estilo)así q para conmemorar mi 20 aniversario en el blog q mostrándoles el soundtrack de mi vida:

está canción representa la fuerza en mivida, es enérgica m encana el bajo en esta canción...

2. Vogue, Madonna
representa la parte superficial de mi vida: moda, dinero, belleza, fama... hay q reconocer q esto es parte de nuestra naturaleza humana.

3. Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini Var.18, Rachmaninov
es muy especial este tema... porque nosolo representa las cosas buenas de mi vida,sino tambn las malas; para ser exactos representa el equilibrio en todo lo q nos rodea

esta canción me representa... es dcir habla acer ca d Aura trtando de encajar en este mundo, es mi canción m recuerda q para ser feliz solo tengo q ser yo.

esta es para mis mejores amigas amanda, ana i melisa, i para los d la banca i el reto de mis amigos, m recueda cuanto amo bailar...

6. Marcha atrás, Kinky
no se expresar lo q m hace sentir esta canción, no es tristeza a veces pienso q es un poco d arrepentimeinto pero a la ve m hace sentir q puedo superarlo.

7.Historia de un sueño, La Oreja de Van Gogh
es acerca de la muerte, de alguien q murió i visita a su ser querido aquí en la tierra en un sueño para decirle q todo está bn i q debe continuar con su vida.
esta canción m recuerda q la muerte no es sólo tristeza i q tengo una vida x delante.

8. Sleepless beauty, Iceman
es un poco difícil hablar d esta canción x q está en japonés pero en gral dice q sigas adelante, q luches, q todo está ahí; fue una d las canciones con las cuáles m enamoré del japonés.

9. Danzón no.5 Arturo Márquez
uno d mis favoritos, m hace sentir muy mexicana i q hay cosas en este país q aún valen la pena, siento q es muy seductora d alguna manera.

10. gimme gimme gimme, Abba
está m recuerda la parte liberal de mi vida, donde m gusta ir a fiestas, salir hacer lo q sea sin importar lo q pase o lo q digan.

es el tema de este cumpleaños, la encontré i m hace sentir bn, muy feliz aquí los dejo con el tema

pues bn hemos llegado al corto de la semana¡¡

Este me gusta mucho. xq?? bueno soy uhn poco tradicionalista i considero q las nuevas tecnolgías han facilitado la manera en q se hace cine (un punto a su favor), pero q x lo mismo ahora cualquiera puede hacer cine dejando a un lado la calidad x efectos especiales.

Este corto es muy bueno xq con ayuda de la tecnología logran buenas animaciones sin dejar a un lado la calidad.

Valentino¡¡

Me gustan mucho las revistas de moda. Recuerdo q desde chiquita m gustaba verlas. Aunque debo admitir q los noventas no m gustaron mucho.

Aún estoy en proceso d aprendizaje en esto del buen vestir. Recuerdo q hubo una época (hace un año aproximadamente) donde aunque n gustaba la moda i todo eso no m vestía ni lo más cercano a bn xq no quería q la gente pensara q soy una persona superficial.

Hoy, a mis casi 20 años, poco a poco voy mejorando mi gusto; eso sí, nunca pongo la moda x encima d la comodidad (es x eso q aunque amo los tacones casi no los uso).

Mi diseñador favorito es Valentino, aunque el tiene poco q se retiró (en dic de 2007) siempre m gustó su forma única d mezclar feminidad y elegancia en sus diseños. Sdemás quien puede olvidar el rojo de Valentino, un clásico dentro de sus diseños ya que el rojo es color bastante llamativo q representa pasión, fuerza, etc. pero q él logrba llevarlo a una elgencia increible.

Danzón no2

este post está dedicado especialmente a isma i a jc¡¡ ellos estudian conmigo en la fes acatlán.

Cuando era chica mis papás nos inculcaron el gusto x la música clásica (i x esto les estaré agradecida toda mi vida). cuando entré a la uni nunca pensé q m encntraría con dos músicos isma toca piano i tiene una banda i jc estudia flauta transversa en el concervatorio nacional d música, ambos estan en corales en el concer.

Gracias a ellos conocí d manera más profund a la música clásica, m gustaba mucho estar en sus ensayos x q considero q tocan bastante bn.

Una d las piezas q m enseñron i q nunca voy a olvidar es danzón no2 d arturo márquez. Nunca había escuchado esta pieza, i realmente conocía poco del trabajo d los mexicanos dentro d la música clásica; pero cada vez q la escucho m da mucho orgullo saber q la compuso Arturo Márquez, un compositor mexicano.

Esta versión q les dejo es la de Gustavo Dudamel (director de orquesta venezolano) con la orquesta sinfónica Simón Bolivar. Es bastante buena aunque debo admitir q no es mi favorita.

pd si pueden compren el disco el danzón según Márquez, es bastante bueno i tambn m gusta mucho danzón no5
